RESEARCH PAPER

The Human-Constant AI Implementation Model™

A Scholar-Practitioner Framework for Leading AI Implementation in Human Systems

Mark Alexander · Version 1.0 · August 2026

About the paper

Artificial intelligence is advancing faster than most organizations can absorb it. Leaders are being asked to prepare for technologies whose future direction, dominant platforms, and effects on work remain uncertain. Too often, implementation begins with the tool and then reorganizes people around what the tool can do.

The Human-Constant AI Implementation Model™, developed by Mark Alexander as part of the broader Human-in-Complexity Framework™, uses enduring human realities as the design anchor for AI implementation. It is intended to help leaders use AI to increase capacity and decision quality without making judgment, accountability, and human development secondary to the technology.

Status

Relationship to Human-in-Complexity

The model is an applied component of the Human-in-Complexity Framework. Where the broader framework addresses leadership capability in complex, AI-accelerated environments, the Human-Constant model focuses specifically on how leaders design and govern AI implementation in human systems.
