HUMAN-IN-COMPLEXITY PRACTICE

Learning Forward.

Learning Forward in the Human-in-Complexity Framework™ is the discipline of converting experience, including failure, into better future judgment.

What Learning Forward means

A poor outcome is not a diagnosis. Leaders should distinguish among objective, assumptions, strategy, implementation, capability, environment, and outcome before deciding what to change. The governing principle is: never abandon a sound objective because of a flawed implementation, but never defend a flawed objective simply because you are invested in it.
